Considering joining us? In an effort to help you decide BSPHI is right for you, we have included the answers to some frequently asked questions.

 

Here are some frequently asked questions about the Application:

What are the "rules" about joining?

The only prerequisites are that all applicants must be at least 18 years of age unless a parent or guardian is also a member. And that you are willing to do the work that is listed in the 'What happens if my application gets approved?' section at the bottom of this page.

So, can anybody join?

Everyone is welcome to apply for membership but not everyone who applies will be accepted.

How much does it cost to join?

There is no cost to join. However, we are fond of cookies.

What ghost hunting equipment do I need?

Read the "What happens if my application gets approved?"

Do you care that I don't have any experience looking for ghosts?

We ask only that you have a serious desire to learn more about paranormal research.

How much money will I make?

Zero, that was an easy question. We are all volunteers with the desire to help people who may be experiences paranormal events. If your looking to make money at ghost hunting or to have your own television show, we are not the group for you. If your looking for answers to questions you may have, then by all means fill out an application.

I don't want to join right now, but can I still help you look for ghosts?

Requests will be considered on a per basis. However, anyone who attends a ghost hunt must sign a liability waver and a strict confidentiality agreement.
